was a partnership between brother-in-law, Frank A.
McKee and Joseph McHale. Following McHale's
death in 1960, Frank A. McKee developed
apartments for older tenants, building more than
500 units, which the company still owns and
manages. Frank A. McKee became a pioneer in
adult 55-plus housing and resolved to dedicate his
company to creating communities that combined
homes of high quality and great value with a
carefree and enjoyable lifestyle.
The McKee Group has been recognized in national

Frank A. McKee passed away in March 2001 leaving behind a solid company under the leadership of his son, Frank J. McKee. Most recently, the next generation of hands-on McKee management joined the company in 2006 with the addition of Jennifer McKee and Kate McKee Black.
